The Clip on Antisemitism That Everyone Needs to Watch
Leo Terrell is the Chair of the Department of Justice’s Task Force to Combat Antisemitism. And boy did he make a bold statement here! So many people think that antisemitism is not their issue. “Who cares if they hate Jews? I’m not Jewish,” they might think. But we all know that those who hate Jews don’t only hate Jews. And they don’t only come after Jews either.
“I am proud to be a Black Baptist. No, I’m not Jewish. This is not a Jewish issue. It’s an American issue. It’s a Western civilization issue. We are all obligated.” Some strong words. Some true words. People need to hear these words and internalize them.
Those who care about Western civilization and want to fight for morals should care about combating Jew-hatred. Jews stand for morality. Those who hate us hate morality. Those who hate us hate G-d, even if they claim to be believers in G-d. You can’t hate G-d’s people and try to destroy them while simultaneously claim to love G-d. Those things contradict each other.
