WhatsappJoe Biden and Kamala Harris are trying to make the argument that they have no debate with the Israeli people. They claim that they only have a debate with the Israeli leadership concerning the issue of humanitarian aid to the Arabs in Gaza. Joe Biden may only be operating with most of his faculties, but he is the man in charge and is responsible for what he says and decides to do with American power.
Biden has decided to not pressure Israel on the issue of largely destroying the Hamas leadership. For that, Israel needs to say thank you. Perhaps this should be obvious, but as can be seen across campuses in the United States, this cannot be taken for granted.
However, concerning what must be done now that Israel is 70-80% done, there is a major disagreement between Biden, Harris, and the Israeli leadership. Biden and Kamala Harris espouse a policy that Israel should not finish the job, whereas Netanyahu and nearly 80-85% of Israel’s Jewish population want to finish the job.
What does finishing the job mean? It means killing the heads of Hamas. It means destroying every single weapon of destruction that Hamas has brought or manufactured in their terror state. It means Israel must not renounce any security responsibilities to any entity in Gaza – period. Israel has learned countless times that the only way to ensure Israeli security is via the Israel Defense Forces.
So Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have a problem. They are trying to separate Benjamin Netanyahu from the people of Israel. But the people of Israel and Netanyahu are fed up. They are not willing to be raped, beheaded, and kidnapped. Its that simple. Thank you Joe Biden for the support in the first stages of the war, but no thank you for trying to force Israel to have to endure yet another October 7th massacre if we follow your lead.
