The “Eternity of Israel” at Ben Gurion Airport
The Jewish nation has been through it all. Suffering, tragedy, persecutions. The Holocaust. The brutal massacre of October 7. All of these things are etched in our personal and national memories. But we have also experienced miracles since the beginning of our nation’s existence. G-d has continuously watched over us. We don’t understand our suffering, but we know that we are a resilient people. And that too is part of our identity. The Jewish people are G-d’s eternal people. G-d promised us we would be His nation forever, and history has shown that.
This exhibition at Ben Gurion Airport is amazing. Yes we have suffered exiles. But we have also seen the miraculous redemptions that have followed. In ancient times and modern times, the people of Israel have experienced many, many miracles from G-d. We must appreciate those miracles and thank G-d for them. We must pray and ask for His continued miracles and to continue to bless us.
And now that we have returned to the holy land of Israel, the Jewish people are here to stay. And everyone can see the deep connection between the Jewish people and the land of Israel right there in the airport. It is seemingly simple yet magnificently powerful.
Many people travel through the airport. What a great place to put something so important for all to see.
