Maybe you know his music, and maybe you don’t. But what matters is that he has a moral head on his shoulders. He has not followed the views of many other famous people when it comes to Israel and the Jewish people. Famous musician Boy George has stood firmly in his support for the Jewish people and Jewish state. His new song “We Will Dance Again” received major backlash. But he still stands strong with G-d’s people.
It shouldn’t be such a shocking thing to stand on the right side of history and to stay moral. And yet, it sometimes sadly is. Many are clueless about the truth or are pure antisemites and don’t care about the truth. Boy George is neither of those things. He is educated and supports the Jewish community.
It’s one thing to speak up in a setting where everyone has the same views anyway. It’s another thing to speak up and create a song knowing that people will literally despise you for it. But Boy George won’t give in to the nonsense. He is continuing to stand up for what’s right. He deserves a lot of credit for swimming against the tide. Thank you from the entire Jewish community!
