TRUMP TO IRAN: “THERE MAY BE NOTHING LEFT OF YOU”

U.S. President Donald Trump escalated his rhetoric against Iran on Sunday night, warning that time may be running out for the Islamic Republic as tensions continue to rise behind the scenes between Washington, Jerusalem, and Tehran.

In a sharply worded post published on Truth Social, Trump declared:

“For Iran, the Clock is Ticking, and they better get moving, FAST, or there won’t be anything left of them. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE! President DJT.”

The statement immediately triggered speculation across diplomatic and security circles that a major strategic decision may be approaching — one potentially involving direct military pressure, expanded sanctions, or coordinated action between the United States and Israel.

The message was published shortly after Trump held a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to Israeli sources familiar with the conversation, the call lasted more than thirty minutes and focused heavily on Iran’s nuclear ambitions, regional aggression, and the growing possibility of renewed military confrontation with the regime in Tehran.

The timing of Trump’s statement is significant.

In recent weeks, concern has intensified in both Washington and Jerusalem over Iran’s continued uranium enrichment activities, its expanding missile program, and intelligence assessments suggesting Tehran may be accelerating key components of its nuclear infrastructure despite international pressure.

At the same time, Iranian-backed militias across the Middle East — including Hezbollah in Lebanon, Shiite militias in Iraq, and the Houthis in Yemen — have continued threatening Israeli and Western interests, further reinforcing fears that the region may be entering a broader phase of escalation.

Trump’s wording also appeared deliberately designed to restore strategic ambiguity and psychological pressure — a hallmark of his previous Iran policy. Rather than outlining a specific red line, the former president projected unpredictability, signaling that diplomacy may not remain open indefinitely.

For Israeli officials, the message will likely be interpreted as a sign that Washington’s patience is rapidly narrowing.

Behind closed doors, Israeli defense planners have reportedly been preparing multiple operational scenarios connected to Iran’s nuclear facilities and regional proxy network. Security analysts increasingly believe Jerusalem is attempting to coordinate closely with Washington before any dramatic shift occurs.

The conversation between Trump and Netanyahu comes amid growing regional concern that the old containment framework surrounding Iran may be collapsing. Israeli military officials have repeatedly warned that Tehran has used negotiations and international hesitation to buy time while strengthening its strategic position.

Now, Trump’s public warning may indicate that the next phase will center less on diplomacy — and more on deterrence, coercion, and the credible threat of force.

Whether the statement represents psychological pressure, preparation for negotiations, or an early signal of a larger geopolitical move remains unclear.

But one message was unmistakable:

The White House wants Tehran to understand that the clock may no longer be working in Iran’s favor.
