What is the Definition of Zionism?
There are those who don’t like what Zionism means. But those people don’t get it. Rabbi Ari Abramowitz gave new meaning to the word Zionism with this video clip. He spoke about a mission and a purpose. The Jewish people have a purpose in life. He said, “Well G-d brought us back to our home, why don’t we bring Him back to His.” But there is also something else he spoke about that is critical to the Jewish people’s existence.
We have to let go of fear and trust in G-d more. We don’t control the world—G-d does. If we truly internalize this, our lives will be completely different. It’s not easy to let go of the fear we have about the future and what will happen. But it will free us up from all our worries to know that G-d has a plan. He runs the show. And He doesn’t make mistakes.
Another important message that the world needs to hear is that the Temple is for all peoples and nations. The whole world should be praying for the Third Temple. It will usher in the final era of peace and calm. No more war. No more fighting. Just G-d and goodness. Who wouldn’t want that?
