Wow is all there is to say. Rabbi Doron Perez is a truly unique and special person. If you listen carefully to his words, he is not saying that all is pain-free. Quite the opposite. He as a father has experienced the worst tragedy a parent could have—the murder of a child—his child, Daniel Perez. And he had to live in the unknown for a long time if his son was alive or dead. And then, after finding out he was murdered, his son’s body was not able to be properly buried right away because of the brutal Hamas terrorists who refused to give back even bodies for proper burials.
Rabbi Perez learned to not ignore the pain or push it away. He learned to carry it with him the way the Jewish people carry their pain into redemption. What a powerful message. There are no words. We have so much to learn from this great rabbi. We hope and pray that we never have such a tragedy like Rabbi Perez. But we can all relate to his words on a personal level in whatever challenges we go through in our lives.
Everyone should watch this interview. So many important and powerful messages were shared. And when messages are shared which are personal, it’s that much more uplifting and meaningful. The messages can go deep into the soul when the person speaking actually feels what they are sharing. When you come across a person who is so honest and real, embrace what they have to say.
