WhatsappTurning Point USA will go down in history as one of the most important grass-roots movements that focused on young people across the USA. Had Charlie Kirk not been assassinated, Turning Point would have probably continued to grow.
Charlie Kirk was actually the most important person who was willing to broach the subject of young people choosing to see Israel in a negative light and to try to stem the tide. Charlie Kirk was a Christian who felt a strong religious bond with the Jewish people and the State of Israel. This snapshot of his visit to Israel was a good example of where his support for Israel stemmed from.
Yes, Charlie was having some concerns about the war in Israel dragging on in the weeks and months before he was killed. But he was a staunch supporter of Israel who was actually working on Israel’s number one problem with the Western world – communicating that it is good and that the anti-Israel side is evil. He was actually the one person who probably could have accomplished a turnaround on that issue across campuses. His loss is indeed enormous.
