Maybe the Middle East would change if we were more confident about who we are and our mission – if we truly understood the gift G-d gave us.
The Middle East Language
It has been said before, but the Arab world doesn’t respond to weakness. It responds to strength and confidence. And what is so important to understand is that G-d gave us this land. It is ours because of that. The Jewish people belong in the land of Israel. And Jewish leaders and Jews worldwide must be able to say that out loud. There are even some Muslim scholars who know that we must be strong in our belief about our G-d given land.
We can never give up our land. Not only because it doesn’t bring peace and only creates more opportunities for our enemies to attack us, but also because, again, G-d gave the JEWISH PEOPLE the land. Denying that is denying G-d. It’s that simple. You can’t claim to believe in G-d and the Bible and then say that the land doesn’t rightfully belong to who G-d gave it to. This video clip ends with Rabbi Jeremy Gimpel saying, “This belongs to Israel. Period. And if we can just say that, I feel like the world would respect us.”
Has giving away land worked in creating peace with this so-called “Palestinian” people? No. Nothing has worked. So we might as well try being more confident in ourselves and our land that G-d gave to us. Maybe the world would start seeing that we are not willing to budge anymore – that we are not willing to be stomped upon, beaten, and killed by our enemies and demonized by the so-called Western world. Those days are over. We are strong, proud Jews with a homeland and a G-d!
