What a speech this is. IDF soldier Sam Fried really poured out his soul here. He spoke from his heart. He spoke with passion. You can feel his love for his people and his homeland.
The Jewish people are special and unique. It’s hard to claim we don’t belong in this world when G-d has kept us alive for thousands of years while “great” nations have perished. Where is the great Roman empire? Gone. Where are the Babylonians? In the history books. And the Jewish nation? We are not only alive – we are thriving. We are building. We are showing the world what it means to be a Jew. It has been a long road. But we are G-d’s people. And He will never let us perish as a nation. G-d does not break His promises. What makes the Jew-haters of today think that they can rid the world of the Jews? Have they read the history books? Do they know what happened to people like Haman who tried to kill all the Jewish people. He was hanged. The story turned against him.
The Jewish people are alive and well. And we are not going anywhere!
