WhatsappAn Iran with tens of thousands of ballistic missiles and 3 nuclear weapons facilities could wreak havoc – not only on Israel – but across the entire Europe. In 12 days, Israel, with a little bit of help from it’s friends, destroyed this threat. Iran had thousands of ballistic missiles, but began ramping up it’s production in the months before the war.
The destruction was not complete. Israel probably only destroyed around 80-90% of the ballistic missile capabilities and nuclear weapons construction sites. But that does not minimize the effectiveness of the war. This is not as simple as a 2-3 year delay. First off, it will take at least 5-7 years – in the best case scenario for Iran – till they rebuild what was destroyed.
But more importantly, there is nothing more debilitating to Iran’s military threat than the fact that Israel wiped out the entire military leadership. All of the incoming military brass of Iran know that they are now targeted and being watched by Israel. This will not change for decades. If Israel needs to go in and take out the military threat from Iran again, it will. And now that President Trump made the bold move of ordering the strike as a follow up to Israel’s attack, a new precedent has been made about keeping Iran’s military threats from becoming operational. Iran may make more noise in the future, but they know that they just got knocked out and are not getting up soon any time in the near future.
The repercussions are major. This reversal of the Biden-led Afghanistan debacle have scared Putin, the Chinese leadership and any other bad actors in the world from moving on any of their potential expansionist plans. B-2 bombers scare the living daylights out of the evil people in the world.
Donald Trump is not the only person who should win the Nobel Peace Prize. Benjamin Netanyahu should receive it too. The Israeli attack on Iran took a lot of guts. A unified Israel withstood the pummeling that Israel took from Iran. But everybody in Israel was thrilled that the nuclear threat on Israel was finally being neutralized. Bibi made sure that the country was always vigilant in terms of their concern for the threat against it.
When the time came, a unified Israel sat it out in bomb shelters across the country and the brave soldiers in the Israeli Air Force, Special Force Units and especially Mossad, did their job masterfully. Israel, and the whole free world is 100 times safer today than it was before the 12 Days War.
