The Real Reason Arab Countries Closed Their Borders to Gazan Refugees

The reality is cruel. Most Western minds have a difficult time accepting that millions of people can actually be deeply religious people and also be violent and dangerous. But that is exactly the reality for millions of Arabs in the Middle East, many of whom are sitting on the southern and northern borders of Israel. Israel has always faced and continues to face an existential threat for one simple reason. Millions of Arabs living around and inside of Israel want to kill millions of Jews.

It is reasonable for many Americans to make an assumption that this is just classic Jewish neuroses following the Holocaust. Perhaps it is. But it doesn’t take away from the reality that when tens of thousands of Arabs chant death to the Jews at mass funerals for Arab terrorists, they really mean it. In no way are the words, “Death to the Jews” a euphemism or a contextual statement with some kind of a double meaning.

One of the most important lessons of World War II that applies for all times is that adults with dangerous weapons who claim that they want to kill the enemy mean what they say. And when those adults become a mass movement and take over a country, they become a threat to the world that must be stopped as early as possible.

World War II became just a question of time once Adolf Hitler assumed power in Germany, burned down the Reichstag, and spent millions building up the German Army. But Germany could have been stopped earlier, before it even invaded Poland. Millions of civilians and soldiers could have been saved. Once Germany had conquered France, Belgium, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, and much of Southern Europe, it became clear that turning back Germany would cost millions of lives.

It was only because America hid behind it’s isolationist America first attitude for years that America fooled itself into thinking that somehow the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans created an insurmountable barrier. Pearl Harbor proved that premise dead wrong. The Soviet Union under Stalin thought that Germany would never invade it. England under Chamberlain tried to appease Germany under Hitler. Had the USA, England, Soviet Union and other countries sprung into action earlier to isolate Germany and threaten immediate attack in response to German aggression, Germany would have been stopped way earlier. It would have been costly, but it would have been a far better option than what actually transpired.

In today’s day and age, too many Western countries, especially Canada and the USA have still not woken up to the reality of radical Islam. The threat is indeed a worldwide threat. The countries that understand this today are the other Arab countries that are looking to modernize and not be controlled by the radicals. And now, more than 80% of Israel understands the threat, having learned it the hard way. The sooner the reality sets in, the sooner the world will take proper action to divide up and conquer the threat of radical Islam. No radical Islamic country can be allowed to thrive, build up a massive terrorist infrastructure and threaten the rest of the world.
