What is the best pro-Israel argument for the State of Israel? The truth is that the best pro-Israel argument may very well be the fact that every anti-Israel argument is based on nothing but lies, fictitious claims, and an obvious disconnect from basic history. Joseph Haddad, a pro-Israel Arab, is one of the most skilled voices today voicing the facts and debunking all of the claims that are commonly accepted as facts.

More than one thousand years before the term “Palestine” entered the lexicon of the world, the Jewish people, lived, prospered, sinned, were chased out of, and returned to the Land of Israel. There were Jews in Judea, Samaria, the Galilee, and even in areas that are Jordan and Syria today. King David built up the city of Jerusalem and established the Davidic dynasty that would hold for hundreds of years. King Solomon built the First Temple, and enlarged the Kingdom way beyond the borders of the State of Israel of today.

All of this occurred nearly one thousand years before the birth of Christianity, before the term Palestine entered the world, and nearly 1,500 years before the advent of Islam.

But even when the term “Palestine” was born, during and following the Roman conquest of Jerusalem, there was no reference at all to a “Palestinian” people. Moreover, the Land of Israel was filled with Jews and Roman conquerors at the time. Arabs lived in areas that are today Saudi Arabia, Syria, Egypt. Very few at all lived in what is today referred to as the Land of Israel.

So, basically, hijacking the geographic term of “Palestine” from the 1st century, which had no connection at all to Arabs, and implanting it on Arabs in the latter part of the 20th century, who decided to start claiming their ancient connection to the Land of Israel is one big sham. It is as reasonable as Chinese people who have immigrated to America claiming that Chinatown neighborhoods across America are part of their ancient homelands and claiming their rights to an ancient Chinese homeland in New York City.

In a day and age when rights are claimed by anyone for anything, there are no clear rights and wrongs. But this premise is exactly what is wrong with the world we live in. There are absolutes. Some things are right and some things are wrong. Some facts are true and some are false. The claim of anti-Israel people to an ancient Arab connection to the Land of Israel is one big sham that is part of the salami plan to destroy the State of Israel. Arafat in a kaffiyeh, Abbas in a tie, and other Arab leaders, announce their intentions clearly – in Arabic. That is why they award terrorists and their families with handsome payments from US taxpayer dollars.

But the fact is that the entire concept of an ancient so-called “Palestinian people” – referring to Arabs – was created in the late 60’s, little more than 50 years ago. The least indigenous people in the history of the world are the Arabs in the Land of Israel.
