What would America think if Russia or China would weigh in on America’s right to declare their capital as Washington D.C.? What would England think if America did not recognize London as the capital of England? It is no less than chutzpah for countries like Australia to take stands on issues such as whether or not to recognize Jerusalem as the undivided capital of the State of Israel.

There is a strong positive side to the fact that so many countries around the world watch everything that goes on in the State of Israel with a magnifying glass. The strong side is that when Israel does the amazing, which is not a rare occurrence, it is broadcast to the entire world.

When Australia decided, in an alarming example of governmental overreach to shut down the country for an extended amount of time in order to stem the Coronavirus pandemic, many of it’s citizens suffered. Did Israel, America, or other countries weigh in on Australia’s decision. Smart scientists analyzed the experiment. At first, it seemed to have some positive short term impact. The number of deaths were lower in Australia than in most countries. But as time went along, the policy seemed to be less and less effective and more of a draconian example of abuse of government power.

It would have been chutzpah for Israel to weigh in on the Australian policy. Well, that is what Australia’s policy is now – pure chutzpah. There is no country that has a stronger claim to it’s capital, Jerusalem, than the State of Israel. The connection to Jerusalem is more than 3,000 years old. But for 3,000 years, the connection is rock-solid – literally – rock solid. You can walk and touch the rocks that were bought by King David 3,000 years ago when he purchased the city from the Jebusites.

The indigenous nation has returned to it’s indigenous land. Australian politicians should hand Australia back to it’s native people before accusing Israel of any wrongdoing in the State of Israel. Netanyahu is right on.
