The birthplace of most of the Western values that the Western world is based on is the Middle East and Europe. But over the last few decades, especially more recently, many of the most fundamental values are being thrown out by winds that are sweeping across the Western world.
These values are on full display in many Universities across the United States – but also in Europe. But for various reasons, Europe is more steeped in woke values that are diametrically opposed to the values that the modern world has been based on.
The most important change is definitely the new definition of gender and the byproduct of this being the destruction of the normative family unit. It has become normalized for the family unit to be deprioritized and turned into something as defined as playdough. When men are no longer men, and women are no longer women, and families are no longer defined by the marriage of the one to the other, the society gets thrown into chaos. Schools don’t function normally when the homes are dysfunctional and the streets become ever more violent and licentious. That is key apect #1.
But there is much more that is bringing Europe down morally. The norms that existed for hundreds of years, if not thousands, were that people felt a connection to their nationality and religions and that gave them meaning as being part of a larger whole. On the religious level, this also made a profound impact on people as they felt that they were a significant part of a greater good that existed in the world. It also gave them a whole host of harnesses to make sure that the fabric of their societies was protected by respect for morals and authorities greater than themselves.
Enter the last few decades where moral decay has become the norm – especially among young people watching trashy messaging on their pocketsize connection to every possible moral infraction across the world. Outside of the exceptional channels such as PragerU, mot of the most popular channels online today watched by young people are filled with violence, ridicule of Western values, and licentiousnes.
The United States is not far behind Europe. What is needed more than ever is a massive investment in the channels that amlify the Western values to the younger generation effectively and attractively. This will not happen via governments but via private donations by foundations that are more concerned about impacting the world than about appearing to make an impact on the world.
