God’s Eternal Promise
God made many promises to Abraham. One of them was that his nation would multiply, and be like the stars in the sky and the sand by the sea. Genesis 15:5 “And He brought him forth abroad, and said: ‘Look now toward heaven, and count the stars, if thou be able to count them’; and He said unto him: ‘So shall thy seed be” We see this being fulfilled today, just by the numerous amount of Jewish people there are across the Globe. People you may not even have thought to be Jewish, are of Jewish descents.
Additionally, another promise was that God would give the land of Israel to Abraham and his descendants. Genesis 17:8 “And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land of thy sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.” We see this prophecy being fulfilled today by the fact that there is the State of Israel.
Prophecies Being Fulfilled
There are many other prophecies that are written in the Bible. That is being fulfilled, right before our eyes. One of these many prophecies is from Ezekiel 36:24 “For I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all the countries. And will bring you into your own land.” This is the ingathering of the exiles! Today there are so many flights from all over the world. These flights come with people who are immigrating to Israel.
Finally, considering the many amazing things happen in the world around us. We need to remember that we should thank God for all these prophecies coming true. We are lucky we are able to see such amazing things.
