This comedy skit may be hilarious, but the growth of a fifth column within the US Congress is a deadly serious issue. There may be little concern that the radical left of the Democrat Party will dominate Congress. But many of the ideas that are espoused by Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar have grown to become mainstream within the Democrat Parrty.
One of the greatest ironies of what the Democrat Party has become is that for nearly a century, the Jewish people have overwhelmingly voted for the Democrat Party. Even more importantly, the bulk of the major donors to the Democrat Party have been Jewish. But Judaism for many of the large Democrat donors has been synonymous with liberalism, and not with most of the traditions of ancient Judaism.
The tragedy of the Democrat Party in the last decade or two is that it has gone down the absurd rabbit hole of progressive principles that nearly always stand in opposition to basic Jewish principles and especially against the rights of the Jewish people to the State of Israel.
Moreover, the Democrat Party has so marginalized itself within the United States that outside of the large urban populations on the East and West Coasts, there are very few areas within the United States with Democrat majorities. It is not only Republican strategists who believe this. James Carville, famous for being one of the chief architechts of Bill Clinton’s presidential election knows that the Democrat Party has gone off the rails.
The question is whether or not the impact of years of unbridled immigration have created a permanent fifth column within the United States or whether or not it is not too late to keep Congress out of the clutches of the radical progressives.
