Former Muslim extremists are often the best people to help teach the West what indeed is brewing and has been brewing for a while.
The global Jihad against the West is not a fringe movement with a few radicals in the hills of Afghanistan. It is a massive movement with hundreds of millions of adherents, who have since spread their influence way beyond the Middle East. They have infiltrated many of the countries of Western Europe, especially France, Sweden, and Belgium. And they are working to infiltrate Congress and other positions of power all throughout the United States.
Is this Islamophobia? Absolutely. But it should more properly be called Radical Islamaphobia. And there is alot to be scared of. After all, who wants to be sitting on a plane that is piloted by a Muslim? Until 9/11, that would have been labeled racist and xenophobic. Today, that is a logical response to a reasonable fear.
But this can be taken too far. One needs to be able to separate out the Islamo-Nazis and their supporters from the Muslim adherents that are somewhat Westernized or at least not radicalized. There are also millions of Muslims of this group. So, that is why it is not Islamaphobia that should be the accepted term. It is radical Islamaphobia that should be the more precise term. Anyone who cares about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness – an American lifestyle – has good to reason to be fearful and careful.
