The Jewish people are G-d’s people. And G-d’s people can’t be beaten. We might sometimes fail and fall. But we can never be destroyed. G-d made an eternal covenant with us. And Ambassador Huckabee knows that. It makes no sense that we should be so strong even after all we have gone through—in ancient and modern times. But we are here and thriving. We have not been destroyed. Even after our Temples were destroyed, our long exiles, pogroms, expulsions, the Holocaust, Oct. 7, and more. We are still proud Jews and proud to be G-d’s people.
It’s so remarkable to have an ambassador to Israel who knows that. Not only does Ambassador Huckabee know the truth, but he will tell it loudly and proudly. He’s not afraid of the backlash that Israel haters might give. The Jewish people have a resilience that cannot be explained. The people of Israel keep building, loving, and living life—despite everything we have been through.
The Jewish people are determined to continue building up the Jewish homeland. G-d gave it to us. We are attached to it. Our enemies keep trying to break us and sever the connection between us and our land. But they clearly don’t understand what it means to be G-d’s chosen nation. Ambassador Huckabee understands though!
