WhatsappThe Democrat Party has made the big move toward moral depravity in regards to Israel quite some time ago. But now it has reached new heights. The Democrat Party cannot even come to agreement on the need to reject a call from the International Criminal Court to arrest an Israeli Prime Minister. It is laughable, but it actually does matter.
Following the lead of Barack Obama, most of the Democrat Party has simply decided to join the woke line of criticizing and opposing Israel at every turn. It goes hand in hand with supporting the rights of transgenders in locker rooms and gender changes. Huh? Don’t even try to find the logic. There is none. It’s just the fashionable norm of the young woke crowd that the Democrat leadership is busy trying to identify with, and criticizing Israel is cool and in style.
This is one of many examples as to why the Democrat side of the aisle of Congress is having so much trouble connecting with the masses of people in Middle America. Yes, America is the land of freedom and rights, and sensitivity to every group is a positive value. But the liberal values that Democrats used to support have been supplanted by an ideology that tramples on the values of nearly everyone else in the interests of a radical few.
These radicals care more about microagressions and gender mutilation than they care about stopping criminals who care less what the gender of their victims are. The same kind of confused ideology that leads to this mindset is the same mindset that has trouble seeing the difference between Hamas terrorists and Israeli soldiers.
But the change has begun in light of the Trump reelection. Americans on the West Coast have lost their homes in the thousands, not in small part due to radical leftist ideology. Radical woke supporters will rarely become MAGA supporters. But they will find a new home in more traditional liberal circles of the Democrat Party. But the Democrat Party leadership needs to realize that this is their only hope to regain power, namely make a giant move back to the reasonable middle. And yes, that includes not throwing Israel under the bus in a knee jerk manner. Otherwise, they will become the oppositon party without much power for many years to come.
