Chilling: Color Footage of 1942 Train to Auschwitz

One of the main differences between color vs. black and white footage is that color footage looks and feels so much more real and current. It is so common to mistakenly think that the horrors of the Nazi movement are so far away from today’s reality that lessons cannot truly be learned from then. This is simply not true. Antisemitism has not disappeared or even lessened. It has morphed in recent times and become dominated by the radical Islamic movement.

Antisemitic threats to the Jewish people change based on the locations and norms of each society. But the existence of antisemitism is a constant that is sometimes more hidden and sometimes more open. Most of the modern Western world has a hard time understanding this because most of the cultures of Western countries are filled with openness and freedom from dangerous leaders.

But the populations in many of the Western countries are quickly changing and many countries have minorities that are growing rapidly every decade. These minorities are often Islamic, filled with anti-Western values, and are not as prone to assimilate into the cultures that they are living in.

This has produced mass grassroots movements in the United States, England, Belgium, France, England, Australia, and other countries that are unified in their pure hatred for the State of Israel. This is the unified modern manifestation of Jew hatred. Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens have not created the wave. They are riding the latent wave of isolationism and antisemitism that has always existed on the right wing of the Republican Party, and they are staking their place as the leaders of the right-wing online movement to fan and augment Jew-hatred via opposition to the State of Israel.

Radical Islam has found far more supporters on the left, but now is a growing movement on the right. The left – especially the young – serve as a clueless partner to the haters, thinking that their sympathy for Hamas is actually some kind of enlightened liberalism – even though there is no less liberal or progressive ideology than the Hamas ideology. Meanwhile, the right-wing partners of radical Islamic hatred of the Jewish people know exactly why they are partnering with Islam – they have a common religious enemy – Judaism.

As in so many of the past iterations of antisemitism throughout history, the contradictions abound. Christian antisemites who join with Islamic hatred of Jews ignore the Islamic hatred of Christians. Islamic haters of Jews push aside their religious opposition to Christian non-believers in order to advance their goals of eradicating the Jewish people.

Never make the mistake of thinking that a massive antisemitic event is impossible in our day and age. Antisemitic events are nearly never the same. The Crusades in the Middle Ages were a new and rarely seen form of marauding hatred towards the Jews. The pogroms of the Cossacks were different than the organized killing of the Nazis. The Iranian threat to destroy Israel is radically different than any previous threat to the Jewish people. Each hater adapts to the new circumstances. The next antisemitic events that are brewing in the West will be different than the antisemitic events brewing in and around the Land of Israel.

The world does not just have Israel-haters and Israel supporters. Many people, probably the vast majority of the world, are outside observers who can be swayed in one direction or another. They are the ones that must learn the lessons of history that are so often overlooked, so that they are not idle observers who stand by as the world continues to descend into barbarism towards the Jewish people.
