Glenn Beck’s Remarkable Clip on Israel
For those of us who love Israel and the Jewish people, it can feel discouraging when so much of the world doesn’t get it. It feels isolating when people are calling for the destruction of the one and only Jewish state. Some world leaders don’t understand. They side with Hamas over the Jewish people. They let antisemitism take over their countries. It makes you wonder if there are sane people out there.
And then Glenn Beck speaks up. He has obviously spoken up and defended the Jewish people before, but this clip on Israel is extremely powerful. It is unique. Listening to the way he describes his privilege of standing with the Jewish people. Listening to how he connects so strongly to the state of Israel. And listening to his letter to Prime Minister Netanyahu and the state of Israel asking them for citizenship.
Wow is all there is to say. Beck reminds us that good, moral people exist. He reminds us that those loud voices calling for the destruction of the Jewish people and the Jewish state can be silenced by one strong, powerful voice defending G-d’s chosen people.
Thank you, Mr. Beck, for standing on the right side of history. Thank you for showing the world what it means to have a moral head on your shoulders and for truly seeing reality for what it is. The Jewish people and all the moral people in the world thank you.
