Yes! This is what we need to have on our minds! We are working toward rebuilding the third and final Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. The final redemption is just around the corner. Sometimes, we forget what life is all about. We forget we are here to serve G-d and bring Him into this world. And sadly, even if we do remember to serve G-d, we forget that we are still in exile and that the Messiah has not yet arrived. We forget that the Temple is still not rebuilt.
So when you hear a Hasidic Jewish reporter ask such a bold and brave question to Karoline Leavitt, you have to give him a lot of credit for bringing up such an important topic.
For those of us that needed a reminder, this small exchange is a good reminder. We must continue to pray for the rebuilding of the Temple. Our lives are not complete without it.
Keep the Temple at the forefront of your mind. Every commandment from G-d that you keep. Every good deed that you do. Every prayer. Remember that the Temple was destroyed and has not yet been rebuilt. Help bring it closer by keeping G-d’s word. Maybe the next time a reporter is brave enough to ask this, the answer will be “Yes, we are in the process of rebuilding the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.”
