Former Student Shabbos Kestenbaum Won’t Back Down
He has been taunted as a student at Harvard. He has been threatened. But Shabbos Kestenbaum refuses to be silent about antisemitism. As a former student, he is fighting back against the injustice. And as he pointed out, this isn’t about attacking free speech. The antisemitism on college campuses has crossed all the red lines. People have been physically attacked. Property has been destroyed. Laws have been broken. Kestenbaum knows his stuff, and he’s brave enough to say what needs to be said out loud.
Maybe he never thought he would become such a public figure. But he most definitely has been in the spotlight recently with his determination to fight the law-breaking antisemites on college campuses. And the antisemites sadly include those part of the administration as well as professors.
Of course all moral people know that what has been happening to Jews at universities is sickening. But not many of us are willing to take that major step to truly fight against it. But Shabbos Kestenbaum is willing to fight on the frontlines against the university antisemites!
